We have used Black Diamond several times in the past for plumbing problems. Most were good. The guy that came out this time was excellent - covered the carpet with tarps so they did not get dirty!! Will ask for him every time!!

I agreed to have an electricial service panel replaced by Black Diamond and agreed to the pricing. My mistake was not asking for an itemized quote. Didn't realize I was being charged $195 per installation of three smoke detectors. These were replacement units so it didn't require running electricity to the alarms. I also asked for a "Ring" doorbell to be installed and was charged $195 for that installation (Ring will send someone to your home for $50 to perform the installation.) Had I known the cost for these four items, I would have made other arrangements. Since the electrician was already at my home replacing a service panel for thousands of dollars, I guess to my mind there could have been some economy of scale. Don't get me wrong, didn't expect the additional services would be performed at no charge, but I could have purchased the three smoke/carbon monoxide detectors for around $35 each and had my handyman install them for probably $100 for all three. A cost to me of around $200 instead of almost $600. Word to the wise. Get an itemized quote.

Keith From Black Diamond came out to service our air conditioner. He was able to successfully identify the problem, fix it with parts in his truck, and was very courteous. We have been using black diamond for the last seven years for all of our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical needs. They always go above and beyond the call, and always prompt and responsive. It is fixed once and only once.

Jesus was very courteous and fixed our kitchen plumbing problem with ease. He also noticed that our pump was not grounded properly, and secured an electrician to come fix the problem. Black Diamond was recommended to us by our daughter, and we would recommend them to others as well.

Holiday weekend and lots of water in my basement - called Black Diamond who originally said someone would be out between 12pm and 2pm but she quickly called back and said the plumber would be here within the hour. Nick arrived right as promised and assessed the situation, then quoted me a price and started working. Even though the job did not go quite as easily as hoped for, he kept patient and persevered. A remedy was reached and he left after a very long and tedious day. He is extremely polite and very pleasant answering my myriad of questions all day. I was very pleased that he took the time to explain the problems he encountered and offer alternate solutions.

The conundrum here is that having your sewer back up into you home is an awful experience. But I find that this encounter with Black Diamond was a great encounter !! I have never met men with such a high standard of professional integrity in any service episode in the past. I would recommend Black Diamond and specifically that crew to anyone, any time for any plumbing needs. Black Diamond is very fortunate to have these men representing them in the field.

Michael C came to give me info on my options given the nature of my air conditioner's problems. Instead of just a quote, I received a thorough inspection of the problem followed by a realistic solution.
